Inspiration at The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

What a small world this is – and what tremendously good people populate this wonderful world. I am honored to have had the opportunity to sit down and brainstorm collaboration ideas with Ilana Benyosef, Patient Services Manager at The Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I am also very grateful to have met Jess VandenHeuvel – the Campaign Coordinator for Team in Training. (Rock n Roll Half Marathon; Light the Night etc) The positive energy and patient support present in this office inspired me to let you know just how great this organization is. If you know anyone affected by a blood cancer, I highly encourage you to seek them out. Hope is greater than fear. Community conquers loneliness. Thank you Ilana for inspiring me today!! And while I’m on the subject, I’d like to give a quick shout out to Shannon Foley from Love Hope Strength – saving lives – one swab at a time. 2 amazing organizations run by amazing individuals!!!!! If you have the opportunity, explore them further.
