We at Sunshine Hope believe that a strong sense of community and the willingness to help others are cornerstones of living each day to the fullest.  A society in which people take care of each other, where unity runs deep, is a stronger society than the alternative.  We as individuals are served well by serving others.

One of the passions underlying Sunshine Hope is a desire to “give back,” to make a positive difference in the world.  Whether helping one person live a brighter day with a smile or donating financially to an important cause, it all helps. 

In addition to our efforts to change the world through our Community and outreach, our policy at Sunshine Hope is to donate 10% of our product proceeds to charity. 

This year and in the years ahead, we plan to greatly expand the scope of our “Giving Back.”  We hope you’ll join us, whether by supporting us or finding your own ways to make a difference.

CHOP Child Life
In April 2008 we raised funds and used them to purchase a long list of items on the “wish list” of the Child Life department at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. We generated publicity (here and here) by marching in the Doo-Dah Parade in Ocean City, New Jersey, then raised the funds at Ocean City’s semi-annual block party and delivered the items to the hospital in person, along with our mascot.
